Solid weekend for Hart in rounds 8&9 of TCR UK

Max Hart Racing – Press Release Oulton Park Races:

Rounds 8 & 9 of the Goodyear Touring Car Trophy/TCR UK took place at Oulton Park in Cheshire on Saturday, and Max Hart went into the weekend joint third in the championship. Max  qualified his Maximum Motorsport Hyundai i30 N TCR on the second row with third fastest time, with a brilliant  final lap to be quickest of the cars carrying success ballast.

Race 1: Despite his success ballast, Max made a good start to consolidate his third position, however  Max was starting to struggle with overheating tyres and in the “heat” of the battle dropped to finish a close fourth, which was third in the points as one driver was not registered for championship points.

Race 2: Max started third and enjoyed a race long battle with Alex Morgan to finish third, which was second in points.

So a very successful weekend for Max where he collected some valuable points, to move into second position in the overall Goodyear Touring Car Trophy/TCR UK championship. The next 2 rounds of the championship are at the Anglesey circuit in north Wales on August 8th.
